About DristikonNE

DristikonNE is an independent digital news publication based in Assam, covering all eight states of Northeast India: Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Tripura and Sikkim.

We exist because the Northeast deserves journalism written from within the region — patient, accurate and accountable to the people it covers.

Truth first. Perspective always. We hold our reporting to the standard of evidence, credit every source, and correct our errors in public.

Ownership and contact details are published on our Contact page. Corrections and right-of-reply requests are handled through the newsroom.
